ABOUT / Part café, part florist, part boutique - Possum & Bloom is a love letter to community, coffee, and creativity. It’s the dream of a barista-turned-baker-turned-florist, Emerald Michael, who pulled all her passions into one space, creating somewhere that feels both familiar and fresh. The name itself a nod to her Nan, "Possum" (her nickname for her Nan) and "Bloom" a tribute to the florals at the heart of the business.
FOOD & DRINKS / The menu is proudly 100% gluten-free - from cakes and cookies to drinks and powders. The cult favourite is the Strawberry Matcha, made with organic matcha and real strawberry purée, which has fast become the café’s signature sip. Alongside that, you’ll find an ever-rotating line-up of sweets and their own custom house coffee blend
FLORALS & FINDS / Possum & Bloom doubles as a florist and boutique, with bunches for weddings, events, or simply “just because.” The shelves are stocked with pieces you won’t spot elsewhere in town - Melbourne-made MAKU tees, WA-crafted Pink Soy mugs, Sydney’s Cavendish Avenue candles, plus a playful rotation of clean-ingredient pantry items and one-of-a-kind treasures
ATMOSPHERE / Bright, airy, and joyfully curated, Possum & Bloom balances "cute café" with boutique charm. Sunlight spills across white tables set with pastel plates of sweets, while inside the space is layered with flowers, handmade mugs, woven baskets, and thoughtful finds. It’s modern and warm - a spot equally suited to that daily coffee ritual or a slow weekend catch-up with friends.
MUST TRY / That Strawberry Matcha really is the star of the show. Pair it one of their sweet treats like the fluffy cinnamon scroll or their seriously decadent 'Dubai Chocolate' Pistachio slice.
