Encores
After more than two decades, Encores has rightfully earned its place as a stalwart of Toowoomba’s restaurant scene. The fine dining bistro is definitely not trendy, but reliably serves delicious, classic meals. Lunch with a glass of wine is at the set price of $29/person, which makes it perfect for a business lunch or something a bit more leisurely with the girls.
Encores is the obvious choice for a pre-show dinner at The Empire Theatre next door (their set menu will ensure you finish in time), but is also renowned as a date night spot. The baby grand in the corner comes alive, the doors open out to the garden when the weather is good… it’s a truly special place.
Make sure to book ahead, especially for a weekend dinner, as Encores often books out in advance. Mention to them if you’re going to a show as well, as entrees and desserts are perfectly timed around curtain times.
