another weekend, another round of ‘what should we do?’

To help with the decision fatigue, we’ve rounded up some ideas for this weekend. There’s something here for everyone, whether it’s families, homebodies or music fans.

EAT: Eat cheese and sip Champagne at the inaugural Diner en Blanc.

DRINK: Have you visited Preston Peak’s cellar door yet? Maybe this is your weekend.

DO: The annual Toowoomba Expo is a product showcase and has something for everyone. The Outdoor Leisure Expo also returns with a great range of products and services for getting outdoors with family and friends. It’s on all weekend.

INDULGE: Pick up the Salt by Hendrix Charcoal Face Mask from Luminosa, and run yourself a hot bath. Bonus points for candles (try Bungalow & Basket or Harold’s).

LISTEN: USQ’s second year music students put on an annual cabaret production. Check it out this Friday night. There’s also live music at Fitzy’s from 2pm on Sunday (#sundaysesh).

SHOP: Please, please, please support the local farmer’s markets this weekend. All this beautiful rain is so important for the farms, but it’s equally as important to keep buying your produce direct. You can choose from the markets near the Cobb + Co on Saturday, and the PCYC Markets on Sunday. Gumboots are the new black.

KIDS: The Fairholme Spring Fair includes a sideshow alley, showbags and an international food court. With an art exhibition and horse rides, it’s a great way to keep the whole family entertained. It starts at 10am.

LEARN: The Source Bulk Foods is hosting a workshop about low-tox cleaning. Learn how to make your own natural cleaning products.
