time to get planning

another weekend, another round of ‘what should we do?’

To help with the decision fatigue, we’ve rounded up some ideas for this weekend. There’s something here for everyone, whether you’re vegan, crafty or incredibly stressed out.

EAT: delicious samples at the farmers’ markets this Saturday. Grassroots Chef is popping up with some vegan brekky burgers.

DRINK: your way through our round-up of Sunday sessions (not all on the same day, please).

LEARN: first degree reiki at an intensive group workshop, or kokedama if you’re looking to develop your green thumb. There’s also a ‘crap free’ Christmas food workshop held at The Source, which will help keep you on track this summer.

CLEAN: sorry to remind you that you still haven’t done your spring cleaning

BREATHE: at the luxurious-sounding restorative yoga session on Sunday afternoon, which basically sounds like adult napping in only good ways.

INDULGE: with a massage. Find out what type suits you best here.

WANDER: down Russell Street and learn about the incredible history behind the beautiful buildings there, all while developing your photography skills.

SHOP: at a local international grocery store and discover some new favourite ingredients. And Full Circle Farm is doing a pop-up in Highfields.

KIDS: take the kids to a free screening of ‘Ballerina’ at Walton Stores. Help yourself to dinner and drinks while you’re there. Grand Central is also hosting a full weekend of Christmas activities to celebrate the arrival of Santa (ie. the start of the photos-with-Santa season), as well as an advance screening of The Grinch.
