At Uva, it’s all about the wine. Owner Katrina Costigan has sourced a list that represents Australia as well as a smattering of Italian and French favourites. There’s also a selection of gourmet gins, including local Pechey Distilling Co. Whiskey, beer and cider drinks are not left out either.
There’s a mystery wine every Thursday night – the rules are if you guess it, you’ll get it for free! It’s a great way to try something new (and potentially show off).
Pair your drink with some delicious tapas served every Sunday, such as satay skewers, mushroom arancini, and vegetable spring rolls. Every other day there’s simple cheese platters and snacks.
The boutique venue is perfect for those winding down after work with colleagues or an intimate birthday celebration with friends. Pull up a stool that overlooks the street for some people-watching as the sunsets.
