If you like beer and you like chicken, Chimac is your new home. In fact, the restaurant's name comes from the Korean words for ‘chicken’ and ‘beer’.

The specialisation here is Korean fried chicken, which is generally lighter than other styles. The skin is barely battered, making it crispy while keeping the meat very moist. You’ll also find noodle dishes, dumplings and more.

As well as Australian and Korean beers, Chimac also serves soju, the clear, low-alcohol, distilled spirit that is the most popular liquor in Korea. Traditionally you don’t serve it to yourself. You pour a glass for your friend, she pours one for you, and so on. It’s all very interactive, as dining out with friends should be.
